Well you may have noticed that the letter was addressed to you personally. I don't think he typed out each letter individually so he must of used some sort of program to do the Mail merge from a database or list

I just though everyone was named Aldamir, it is a kickass name for sure.

Okay, I didn't notice that part before so I get it now. But he could have just made the rest of the letter seperate, edited individual files with names, and sent them like that. Of course, the time necessary would be painful. So maybe he did use some fancy magicy stuff.

I just used the built in vBulletin mass-email feature that comes with our bulletin board as standard. I hadn't actually been able to fully utilize it until we acquired the dedicated server since it's very resource demanding.
