Two Worlds dated for PC and Xbox 360

Quote:
SouthPeak Games confirms September 7, 2007 release date.

The game will release in normal and Collector's Edition packs. The PC Collector's Edition includes a wealth of additional materials and free un-lockable content and is exclusively available at GAME. The Xbox 360 Collector's Edition includes the same additional material plus a free 48-hour Gold Membership.
Two Worlds will be released for PC and Xbox 360 on September 7.
Man the games coming out this fall are amazing though the jury is still out on this one.

The three scores I saw were
  • Game Almighty 4/10
  • GameTrailers 8.6/10
  • GameStats 97.4/100
I'm guessing that the bulk of the reviews will be good. The graphics look good and the eight way online multiplayer sounds like it could make the game.

Re: Two Worlds dated for PC and Xbox 360

This game has been so badly marketed so far, actual details about the game and features etc are hard to come by and Hex and I spoke about their main site before. All they do is quote buzz words like 'Innovative combat and spell system' and 'Groundbreaking online mode' but no actual details as to what they are talking about. I dont imagine this game will do that well and also dont have much faith in the developers and publishers.

I dunno. I really dunno. Feels like a third person Oblivion, which would be nice, with MMORPG qualities. But the lack of actual fact is what keeps me from buying this game. Seems like Too Human would be a better option and worth the wait, besides Mass Effect of course.

From what I've heard: It blows. Big time. For once, the graphics are terrible on the 360. Frame rate issues and multiplayer being unplayable. Also, the game itself contains tons of bugs, glitches and just random crazyness.

For example I've heard that it contains two types of enemies; Those you kill in one hit, and those that kill you in one hit. It doesn't sound balanced at all.

On top of it all, it seems that tons of the features show cased on the official website isn't even in the game!

A darned shame, I was looking forwards to it. The MMORPG aspect sounded fun.

From what ive seen i would agree, the combat looks terrible and boring and ive watched all the videos from Germany as its out there. The attacks and spells just looked flawed, buggy and plain awful. I didnt expect anything more with the Developer and Publisher behind the game having never made a good game between them. As you said the website is also deceiving and gives no concrete info, Hex and I spoke about it in detail before and its vague descriptions and buzzwords that were used.

So did I. I thought it was the RPG to fill the void until Too Human/Mass Effect... but was I wrong. All the supposed "360" screenshots are rumoured to have been on a top-end PC playing the PC version.

And from what I've heard from people actually playing the game - I very much think that is true.

Yeah, like I have a top-end PC
I have to hope that my new graphics card runs NWN 2 nicely then. Ah, it`s better than Two World anyway.

I keep praying for a demo - it would clear out alot of things for me. The MMORPG aspects of the games seems really sweet, and when they fix it (hopefully) I might just buy it. But as I said, a demo would be great, even if it is just Single Player.
