Frontlines: Fuel of War Multiplayer Demo Hits XBL

THQ has today released a playable multiplayer demo of its upcoming game frontlines: fuel of war.
The 1.11 GB demo includes two maps, Northern Turkmenistan and the city streets of Moscow. The first requires players to utilize the available vehicles, including tanks, armoured cars and attack helicopters, while the second features much more close up and personal combat.
The is reported to be playable with up to 32 players at once with a slicker, more consistent frame rate combined with additional graphical oomph as the code is polished for a February release date, together with a substantial improvement to the control scheme and stick sensitivity.
Frontlines: Fuel of War will be released for Xbox 360 and PC on February 29.

Been looking forward to this game for a while Kaos Studios have given me some great multiplayer experiences in the past (Battlefield: Desert Combat Mod for Battlefield 1942). Ive played the single player one and that wasnt bad, however these games were never designed to be single player games (much like the battlefield series). Might have to check this out. +rep

Thats the idea, its got a story but thats the basis of the game. Anyone who has played the Battlefield series will be familiar with the way it works (some of best multiplayer games around).

ye i saw alot of rave reviews for the battleifeld games, i wasnt to shore on the toys in frontlines you coontrolled but the gameplay was relistic

Remote Controlled bombs and attack choppers, wouldnt call them toys

Battlefield series was one of my all time favourite series, had so much fun on those games over the years. Shame the consoles get watered down versions (as usual) as the PC versions were 64 Player on huge maps and were amazing games.

hahaha. wow 64 man im missing out is another one in the series of battle fields, oo wait a sec!! battlefield bad company is coming out now that looks amazing, destructable cover wow!!!! hope its 64 playes or more, that would be Phat

Battlefield Bad Company is on the way after numerous delays yeah, however on console the maximum players i would imagine will be 32. Consoles just havent been able to do as many players online in one game as PC's yet and i dont think they will for some time yet.

MMO games are a different thing as its obvious they will have more than 32 players otherwise they wouldnt be MMO's.

Exception being with MMO games of course but they arent common place on consoles anyway really. Get more and more these days but still arent commonplace yet, most do poorly sales wise on consoles.
