ONe thing i really really really really hated washow short fable 1 was even lost chapters so does anyone know how long fable 2 main story line will be i hope 40+hours like oblivion

To me, it wasn't short. It was just easy to past by. Good game though. I don't know how long Fable 2 will be though....

Well the world is apparently going to be ten times larger and with the option of co-op play it will both lengthen and quicken the game at the same time. You will be able to get through the game faster but it will also add replayability. As for how long the game will actually take to get through, we dont know but id expect about 20hours.

even if the story is short theres still plenty of stuff to do, thats the beauty of fable.

Oh, please stop way over-exaggerating. Oblivion's main story line is more like 2 hours, not 40! I beat it in one sitting with time to spare which is roughly 2 hours for me. I beat every single main and side quest and did all of the Deadric Prince tasks in less than 20 hours. 40 hours? Please. lol

Now, regarding Fable 2, Peter Molyneux has said in an interview WIRED (I think) that the main story will take about 12 hours. However, his intent is to keep people from starting over. Because of this, all of the things you can do outside of the main quest will last for many times that. Apparently it will take over 1000 hours to be able to get enough money to buy every piece of property, so I don't think there is much to worry about when it comes to game length.
