what game has the best AI

I bought both F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. files and I also have condemned 1 and 2 and I cant put together what game has the best AI F.E.A.R. has one of the best AI in any of the games I have ever played and in condemned The Drug addicts fight each other which is very amusing to watch I would like to know what other peoples opinions are

Not played them but I've watched Steve (over and over and over and over and over.....) and I personally reckon the AI is better on F.E.A.R

yeah the AI in assassins creed is great. its also good in CoD and in Halo 3 somewhat

Besides the somewhat limited friendlies, the foes of Mass Effect are some quite sly devils.

Condemned 2's AI is not bad at all, and F.E.A.R's AI is very impressive but when you play it a lot you begin to notice the pattern in their behaviour but impressive none the less. Halo's AI has always quite impressed me, not the mindless grunts and such but the Elites and the smarter enemies we very intelligent. Hard to pick an overall best AI in a game to be honest.

F.E.A.R. Files has some criminally good AI, in my opinion. I forget what they're called - and I won't spoil it too much - but the mercenary enemies you come across, halfway through the Perseus Mandate campaign, are an absolute nightmare to beat.

One thing I hated about F.E.A.R. Files was that I got screwed out of about 300 gamer points after completing Perseus Mandate. Grrr.

The AI in Call of Duty 4 isn't anything special, the enemies attack and aiming just gets ludicrously increased on Veteran difficulty. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is an absolute nightmare for textbook-cheating AI. Check out half the threads on the GameFAQS message boards that have "Terrorist Hunt" in the title - you'll see what I mean.

Best AI in a game that I've seen so far is probably F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. Files, to be honest. I'm looking at my games' shelf now and I can't really see anything with better AI than that featured in those two games.

Yeah the COD 4 AI on Veteran has insanely good accuracy and could probably shoot a pinhead with a pistol from a mile away.

Same goes for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 but its even worse, i spent a good hour on one part yesterday just getting annoyed at how much the AI 'cheats'.
