Anyone notice how Fable's trees look better than GTA4's trees?

Well Fable is centered around countryside settings and fields where as GTA is city based. However i think the GFX in GTA IV are excellent for its scale.

The graphics are fantastic. Everything is well detailed and looks excellent. Except for those damn trees... I mean I don't think it would have killed rockstar to make them look a little better

I have to agree, out of all the objects in the game, the trees are the worst. It's even more sad when you drive through the bushes with zero collision detection, since NONE of the bushes are solid in the game (for whatever odd reason). Or riding the train, and the top of a tree is sticking through the floor of the train. Gorgeous game, but damn those trees & bushes,

Not to mention that those that DO have collision detection are made out of admantium! You can run through steel-link fences and other tough fences, but even the tiniest of tree on the sidewalk puts a sure stop to your bloody rampage. The buss stops annoys me too with their immense stopping power - I mean they are like 80% glass.

The big "gamble" factor in what you can and can not run through as you drive about is my biggest gripe about the game really.

I just wish it had been harder! I got it the day it came out but have only had about a hour a day to play it and I'm on the final mission

Ive been playing it quite a lot and havent got that many missions left to do but in a way im glad its been a bit easier. I have never completed a GTA game fully in the whole time they have been out. Id be happy to finally complete one of them.

Plus its got the multiplayer to keep you playing afterwards and downloadable content later in the year.

It's too easy, just a flick of the thumb and all your shots are instant head shots.

Yeah i agree, just a little nudge up and a quick shot and its instant kill in one shot.

Really fast to switch targets too, but i can see the gripe with the reviewers saying that it locks onto odd targets sometimes. Makes it really easy to take out a lot of enemies, can also be a pain sometimes when they are behind cover and you can see part of their body and the target reticule just wont go far enough over to shoot at the exposed part.

Not to mention when you want to throw a grenade or Molotov. They really should've made those not to be affected by auto-aim.

He never seems to get it over the walls when i throw them with auto aim, just sort of throws it weakly at really low wall while taking cover and drops next to him.

I was motivated to complete GTA San Andreas, simply because I played as a completely stacked black beast.
