Re: The "New Death" system
How can a scar be humiliating? unless they carved "wuss" across your face when you are unconscious? (Joking)
But seriously I hope they don't get rid of the scars completely, there was something quite cool about them in Fable 1

Re: The "New Death" system
I hated Scars on my character. Being Pure Good and Angelic was sort of ruined by the 6 inch deep scar across the middle of his face.

Yeah, my scars gave me a serial killer/harry potter hybrid look... didn't look so great for a pure angelic character....

Re: The "New Death" system
Scars= awesome
Dieing= awesome
turning off your console losing save info for cosmetics sake= stupid, but i will probably do it once or twice!
i like the knocked out idea but i hope thats not the only way to get scars.

I'm pretty sure they mentioned renown as an option too but that was so long ago so I guess it could have been dropped again

Renown would be unrealistic, surely Renown would go up, but in a bad way.

Re: The "New Death" system
Why do you hate scars they make you look bad ***, people without scars can tell there stories and could be lying it just makes them look like pussies, with a scar it's proof you killed the white balverine etc...

Re: The "New Death" system
If I had no scars, but I was wearing a White Balverine Pelt and was carrying my Trophy White Balverine head, people would be a lot more impressed than if some villager with a scar he got by scratching it on a rusty nail came in and tried to claim he killed anything.

Re: The "New Death" system
Well, not saying that realism is always a good thing in games, but it adds to the permanency of a warrior's life. It's the whole thing about action-consequence. After all, PM said he wanted to 'make people feel things' in-game... well, if you're feeling pretty ****ed off, isn't that feeling something? Isn't it?
