i don't think the demo would do thatt much good. That would stray them a little from the main part of the game... (Plus i only want thins game to destroy my social life once... not twice because i'd keep playin the dang demo, over and over...) lol jk

Better off for them just to focus on the game than releasing a demo. Plus we have the XBL Arcade games to help keep us busy and ready for the release.

oh well a demo would be fun but its the actual game that really matters. not making a demo gives em more time to make it perfect anyway.

Took the words out of my mouth, also its hard to demo RPG's of this style as you have to pick parts in the story with the least spoilers etc.

I'm glad they are not doing a demo
If they release the demo early it would just be frustrating because of the limitations they would need to put on it.(Time/Quests/Area)
If they realeased it after the release date it would make no difference to me for obvious reasons

I say spend the extra time polishing the game even more. Plus there has been some who say that demos don't always help game sales. I think RPGs are games that don't fit well into the demo model due to the importance of the story.

Its also to big of a game and so they dont need to relase a demo to get their sales up. Im glad that its not coming out becuase it would leave me screaming for more

Agreed and Blue Dragon was a prime example of how not to do an RPG demo.

RPG demos are a little too hard to do. I can't really think of one that was good... Anyways, I'm sure that Fable will get hype and a lot of sales anyways. Halo 3, for example, rode in completely on hype, no demos/other stuff needed.

Hype can also be a games downfall, i mean Fable was hyped enormously and then people were disappointed and underwhelmed and the same goes for Halo 3. Hype can cause people to expect way too much and then be disappointed by games that are still amazing but that could never in reality live up to their hype.
