Please read the rest of the thread. The sword is different depending on what machine you play it on. The XBox version has 2 slots used up whereas the PC version has all 3 used.

It's NOT called Solaris! Also it's NOT dragon soul sword because then it would say DRAGON SOUL SWORD and NOT Solus Greatsword. Now we are all clear however if you do find some new sword no one knows about make sure you post a picture/video of it.

first the singing sword...the avenger as its known in the AMERICAN VERSION if you switch to french or itallian and translate what it says for the avenger its singing sword...

the dragon soul sword... same thing translate to french or by the itallian copy... you see the words e rhond~ unsi translates to! dragon soul sword! omg ive uncovered it!...NO......Sorry but it was only the solus great sword....

Finally it is spelt solus great sword for the same reason it is spelt colour or vendure...
its trying to make it sound more old english style

I saw somewhere that if you are 100% evil and donate 30.000 to Avo on Avo's Temple, it gives you the Solus Greatsword.

Of course I didn't try it out because I already had this sword, and I don't think it's true, because once I donated some gold and I got a kind of Mace (don't remember very well).

Anyway, is it really true? If it is, we can get the best sword for half price - (but you lose your honorable horns)

No matter what you've heard, there is NO Dragon Soul Sword. However there is one Greatsword that is most likely the origin of these rumours, the Solus Greatsword. The vivid rumours of the Dragon Soul Sword mentions both lady Grey and the shop in Bowerstone North which both are linked to the Solus Greatsword.

If you treat Lady Grey really nice, she will give it to you. This will however take a very long time, or be very very random.

Thats what this thread was pointing out The Dragon Soul sword IS the Solus Greatsword and not some other mystical sword that exists elsewhere in the game.
