A Hero's Journey

I have been DYING to make this thread. I want to replicate the books Called "A hero's Journey" like in fable but put them into a game. I will be the head leader of the game but I will deputize(sp?) the first two people who post to take place in my absence (10:00 PM - 3:00 PM everyday except weekends). Please take note that you must be creative and MATURE when doing this. Its also has to be true to fable so nothing too off the wall. It also must follow a storyline so just like the game, for evry choice there must be a consequence. If you wish to be deputized first private message me.

It will work like this

You have just began your first day of training at the hero's guild, you are practicing melee combat with a stick on a straw dummy, do you choose to:

a.hit it across the head
b.jab straight through its chest
c.try to knock it out of the ground with a low blow

------Next post-----

I choose to knock it across the head

-----Mine or deputies post-----

You swing your stick with all your might at its head but miss and go tumbling to the ground, causing your instructor to chuckle at your misfortune.

You then decide to:

a. Stand up and try again hoping you will succeed
b. You walk off with your head low in shame

Okay, now that it is clarified lets move onto the game!

Re: A Hero's Journey

You stand up with your chest out boastful and swing again, this time at its mid section and it breaks in half spreading hay across the training ring. Your instructor says "Wow, excellent recovery!" You now feel happier and you get the choice to either:

a. continue melee training
b. go into the forest and hunt for beetles
c. explore the hero's guild

(Skorms Son you have now been deputized and you are now second in command when I am away.)

Re: A Hero's Journey

As you explore the Guild you see another of your fellow hero's in training, her name is Sepia, she arrived the same day you did and you quickly became chums, do you:

a. pass her by
b. say hello and start a conversation
c. ask if she wants to explore the grounds with you

(Remember, your choice could either make you two mortal enemies or lovers, so choose wisely.)

Re: A Hero's Journey

As you come up nearer to her you make eye contact. She notices you as you walk toward her and she says "Good morning", you reply "Same to you". You quickly talk about how your lessons have been going and then say "So would you like to take a walk aroung the guild with me?" "Sure, I have been wanting to see more of it, it really is very large." You both take off, do you decide to:

a. go to the map room
b. go to the library
c. go to the tavern for a drink
d. go cause some mischief

Re: A Hero's Journey

As you talk to her about your lessons and everything else you tell her to go sit at a table. Knowing you are not old enough to drink at the tavern (being that you are only 15) you decide to try to use your guile to get some drinks. You slyly manipulate and bribe the barkeeper to give you a flask of his finest stuff. Now you think "Should I...."

a. Only drink a little with Sepia
b. Get drunk and go up to my dormatory
c. Get her drunk and see what plays out from there +15
d. save it for later

(oh, i will start to add points for +experiance when you do evil/good acts or when you do something to increase you physical or magical attributes so it seems more like fable and it will affect the stories outcome.)

+5 guile
+1 evil

Re: A Hero's Journey

Okay, but remember there will be a MAJOR consequence for this one.

You invite her upstairs to your private room (which you were lucky enough to get) and you each start downing swig after swig of hard liquor. She has been drinking a little more though than you and eventually she is wasted and you likewise. She mumbles something and so do you, and you are completely unsure what is going on. Five minutes later you notice you begin to make out and she has already thrown off her top. You both are almost guided to the bed and slip under the sheets. Once down on the bed you both pass out. You later wake up and see what happened several hours earlier.
You decide to:
a. Get dressed and find something to cure your hangover
b. wake Sepia up and confess what happened +15 good
c. let her sleep it off
d. don't get up and just admire your handiwork +1 evil

+15 evil

Re: A Hero's Journey

You lay there just basking in your self-gratification when suddenly Maze bursts through your door. The loud bang wakes Sepia and Maze has a look of confusion and carelessness on his face. Sepia exclaims "What happened!" in a slurred voice, you can tell she is still drunk. Maze says "Well, I never thought it was possible. Someone like you. Well.... Anyway.... Ummm... Get dressed boy then meet me in my study." You decide to:

a. Do as Maze says
b. Forget him and go mess around +1 evil
c. Explain to sepia what happened an then follow on with either a or b

+1 evil

(Skorms Son please take over for me if possible, I have to write a report right now)
