Meh, it aint actually Fable related, but I've made a little poem
Heartless?
No
I am not heartless
To be heartless
To not be able to feel
The pain
The desires
Of that which I can not get
To not feel the void that aches
Within my heart
Oh if you could only know
How long
I have desired
To be
Heartless
I guess "someone" is gonna call it Emo and all that, it is rather dark and sad I guess.
But my real inspiration isn't really how I feel (though I bet we all will feel so one time or another in life) but actually what a really, really evil and twisted villian would say when confronted by the hero after doing something bad to innocent people, "How can you be so heartless?".
The villian however isn't heartless, as it is the pain and torture in his heart that drives him to do what he does, and to be able to not feel these feelings would be a blessing for him.
Think of it as Dark Vader AKA Anakin Skywalker - he isn't evil for the sake of being evil. It was the pain in his heart and all that which caused him to cross over to the dark side - if he would've been heartless he would be the perfect Jedi, not sacrifice so much to save his love because of his heart's feelings.
