The 360 and HDTV

Yay, I am about to order my 360 as we speak - but! All the games I see have
something to say about HDTV... Soo...do you need HDTV to play 360 games nicely? Because I am not "quite" that rich.

No of course not, ive had my 360 ages and only recently got a HD TV. Games still look superb on standard TV's, only game that was a pain on normal TV was Dead Rising as the text in game was designed on HD TV and is REALLY small and almost impossible to make out on regular TV.

Oh there is a big difference when you have a good size HD TV on certain games but subtle differences on other games.

ive got a 45 inch hd tv ( around 45) i dunno looked kinda wide for me..

Then change your display settings, games look great on mine and mines a 32 inch.

i dunno i did oblivion just looked weird to me, maybe cause im used to the 21 inch tv ive had for 8 years

Oblivion on HD big screen looks amazing (seen it on a freinds as i have PC Version) as does Gears Of War.

Aw crap - both Dead Rising and Oblivion look "wierd" on a normal TV? Because those are the two I can't decide on which one to get!

Dead Rising has text issues on regular TV but Oblivion looks fine on regular TV.

No its perfectly playable just i didnt know where i was meant to be going or what i was doing as i couldnt read locations on the map very well and people telling me where to go i couldnt read the text.

Really?? i can read it perfectley and no oblivion looks weird to ME on an HDtv cause im use to an 8 year old tv lol
