Re: The 360 and HDTV

I just hate how things always turn out like this for me. Get a new PC game - hells know if my PC wont run it, eventhough it is supposed to. The girl I like wants to be friends with me. Yay, but wait...friends? School sucks, I am sooo far behind in some subjects I am going crazy. My parents grow tired of me and wants me out of the house...

Bah - life always throws me a bone sometimes, only to hit me upside the head with it seconds later. But enough of my silly ramblings...

Yeah most of us have been there and got the t-shirt, never stays like that though. You will see when you got brand new HD TV and playing Oblivion on the 360 and basking in your own technology heaven. Might not happen straight away but it will happen, just will take some time patience and some cash when you got it. Will be well worth it though

Re: The 360 and HDTV

Yea I'm going to be playing on an 10 year old Sony TV until Christmas time. I want to get the best HD TV because, no doubt, it will be another 10 years until I buy another one. It's also why I'm waiting for the new 360

Re: The 360 and HDTV

I think this is the best way to put it, a Xbox 360 on a standard TV is a HUGE step up from an PS2, half the time I play my 360 is on a standard TV. Now, a 360 on a good sized HDTV will blow your mind. Nothing like sitting right up close to a nice 40" HDTV and having your mind blown playing F.E.A.R. or Gears of War, and Oblivion is nothing less than beautiful.

Hey, you wouldn't be normal if this kinda thing didn't happen! My life is only just starting to work out and I'm OLD! And I still gots a looooooooooong way to go and no doubt as soon as one thing is sorted, something else will come up to wind me up.

And like Andy says - once you are sitting in front of that brand spanking new TV, Xbox wireless controller in one hand, favourite drink in the other, surround sound system making you freak out from time to time...you'll be in heaven! And girls? What girls? You'll be playing Fable 2 and leching over all the bouncy women without danger of getting slapped or given a restraining order

People underestimate the value of a decent telly and game system...

Haha - sorry...guess I feel old...I mean I know you are practically dead and all, but I'm not that far behind you...

Maybe we'll get a spot in the same old people's home? You can help me liquidise my junk food so I can eat it and I'll grease the wheels of your Zimmer frame....

I suppose, but it isn't really just about the 360 - all aspects of my life seem to fail recently. Take today for example: The monitor broke down totally(for like the fifth time or so...), meaning I had to turn it in for repairs putting me back even more in alot of subjects since I can't do some work at home. And on top of that our usual repair guy is at hospital (Heard he's got cancer or something, the poor bloke) and the new guy didn't know what the problem usually is with my monitor, so I fear the idiot will do a complete uninstall/re-install making me lose all my stuff on the harddrive.

Bah, but enough of that: What about hooking your 360 into a LCD computer monitor?
