Flickering text problems

Alright, I've played through the game once, without really knowing what was going on because either the text flickers too much, or it's not even there. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Card, and I've turned off Anti Ailasing, I've tried every single resolution, but nothing works. Every other part of the game works perfectly, except the text >.

First of all welcome to the forums

Try turning off Vsync, exiting the options, then go right back in and re-enable it. If that doesnt work leave it off altogether and try it...

Or updating GFX Drivers or reinstalling?

Okay, where do I go to turn of Vsync? And where do I go to update my drivers? I've tried re-installing, so I know that doesn't work.

Im sure its in the display options somewhere cant remember where exactley

Go here for drivers (i think): nVidia ForceWare Graphics Driver (Windows 2000/XP) - Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com

Also heard this can help:

Download details: MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (Microsoft XML Core Services)

Go there, download the file called MSXMLCAB.exe and extract the .cab file to your desktop. Then extract what's inside the .cab file into your C/windows/sys. 32 folder ... and I don't know about this part, but then try creating a new user profile to play the game in.

Apparently after making you User Profile and that not working, deleting the old one may help... if that doesnt work im running out of ideas.

I just started playing my version and I have the same problem. When you click, and skip it so that it doesn't scroll, it works fine. I'm ganna play with some things.

Try afew of my suggestions and see if that helps if not it could be GFX card issue (your unlucky with them at the moment huh

well antialiasing is off already so that's not the problem. I really don't know why it flickers and is sometimes not there.

It doesn't horribly bother me that much anyway.

EDIT: I thought I'd educate

Hey i have geforce 6200 also and same problem, i just choose to ignore it i love the game anyways
