Pop ups...

I just noticed this recently.... But when I click on threads pop ups come up... like almost every thread!


My pop up blocker is on... wtf?


the forum has a pop up blocker to right?

are you logged in when you're getting them?
I've always had pop ups allowed from this site and never got a single one with the exception of pm's... are you getting pop ups telling you that you have messages?

Yeah i know thats ok but...


When i click on a thread it loads it... the thread pops up then i scroll down and this Gamefly/tap or whatever stuff like that pops up...

Ya im logged in.. it hasn't happened since i last logged in yet though...

you do know the site is ad supported right? so you'll see ads all over the place if you're not logged in...

That's odd, I have set it so that registered members never see the ads. Would you mind providing a screenshot of the ads you see and I'll check it out.

The best i can do right now is post the liknks when they pop-up... I dont think i have the software to take screen shots... sorry.

EVERY Computer has the "software" to take screen shots.
there should be a button on your computer that says "Prt Scrn" Aboe the (Insert, home and Page up keys) and when you press the button it takes a picture of the desktop..like this:

And if your computer DOESN'T have this button then there's something seriously wrong with it.

Just to add to Sephi's post - once you have pressed your 'PrtScr' key, open up your favourite graphics program: Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro... MS Paint... and press 'CTRL + V' or -- typically -- go to Edit > Paste and the image should be pasted to your canvas. Simply save and upload to your favourite image host and done!
