I havn't installed it yet, because I'm at my dad's. His computer is so slow... but after it's warmed up, it seems to be running much quicker! Imagine this: a computer... that takes 5 seconds to open the start bar.
Scary, in'nit ?

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Oblivion is a wicked freaking awesome game. Definitely worth 50 bucks. It's worth about 100 bucks to me. It is the most amazing game I have ever played... seriously.

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Oblivion is one of the best RPG's you will play, and so huge and engrossing you will be playing it for a LONG time. Just dont be put of by its size or the scale of the game.

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Ooh ... sounds good ! I loved Morrowind... I mean, it's just awesome having the option to go where you want, do what you want... it's mind boggling! I've always been driven nuts by invisible barriers, and it's-... well, here's a good example. The first time I ever played Morrowind, I was at my friend Rebecka's house. She told me, "It's pretty cool, you can go all over the place." I didn't believe her. Man, was I wrong! I bet five bucks that I could find the edges, and just started walking into the mountains... 30 minutes later .
"But... I walked in a straight line !"
"Yep."
"But I just reached the ocean and started swimming..."
"Yep."
"Where's the edge?!"
"I don't know."
"But... ..."
Once I took my most powerful character, a vampiric Dunmer, and tried to swim all the way to the edge of the map (on my XBox). I actually ended up changing from the video screen to watch television, while holding the joystick forward. I don't think I ever reached it .

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Same here, except I did get into it But lately, my interest has been dying... I'm figuring Oblivion'll rekindle it. I'm really excited about the whole horse thing- and no, don't get me wrong, I'm not the kind of girl that gets all excited around horses and ponies . My mom use to have a pony ride, and it'd drive me nuts every time I heard, "OMFG A FREAKING PONY! OMG!!! IT'S RIGHT THERE DO YOU SEE THE PONY OMFG A PONNNYYYYY!!!"
I am looking forward to it, though, because I've always had a thing for riding horses in games Which is weird, because I already have my bay to ride in reality. It's sorta like playing the Sims... what's the point?
I'm really hoping you can get horses of different coats, because I'm planning on making my first character a Dunmer... and I want to get a bay, just like JB !
Also, can you use weapons while on your horse? That'd be awesome, especially because (I'm guessing from the back of the box) there are going to be deer to hunt.

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Awesome, thanks alot ! I already looked through the Oblivion gallery, but I havn't heard of the screenshot thread . Wow... now I'm even more excited to get home !
Darkwings and I go to school together, and we have the same classes in our last three periods. That's why we're always on at the same time . Oh, and PE, too.
(Just a little random fact )
... this sucks! It wouldn't let me click them, because I'm on a school computer... I should go to the library . Tomarrow. I've got to play Oblivion today O_O! *laughs*

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Oblivion will seriously keep you occupied for a looooooong time. I've had the game for at least six months and still have not completed the main quest (almost there though!) due to the fun you can find doing whatever you want. And trust me, the game kicks the living sh** out of Morrowind. You can bet on that. As for the game world, yes there are set boundaries, but I really wouldn't worry too much about it seeing as the world is so amazing. Might I recommend doing some exploring?

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
You don't have to recomend it- that's one of the first things I've got in mind !
Yes, 'got'. As it, I havn't played it yet. Okay, listen to this
1) I make sure I've got the right software, space, hardware, ect., before I even buy the game
2) I go home, install it, everything's running great.
3) I hit 'New', watch the movie, and right when I went to make my character...
Okay, I could see the menu fine. I toyed with the hair style, gender, race, eye color, all of that. But in the back ground, the screen is blank. I entered it anyways, and I could hear the gaurd or whoever he was saying I was gunna die ( ), heard the Blade tell me to move over by the window, and I'm like: "Wtf?! Where's the window?!" I could see my status bars, the cumpass, all of that. But the actual game screen was totaly blank!!!
Anyways, I ran around untill I heard the guy come in, and when I heard the opening of that secret passage, I could see the outline of dust and dirt falling. I couldn't really see anything else, but I went in it, because it framed the outside of the entrance. Then I could see the basic shape of the Blade's helm, but it was a solid, neon blue. So, of course, hoping I'd at least hear the intro, I followed. Then I heard them yelling and fighting and I'm hitting the back key and yelling "What's going on?!" Then I got mad after they told me not to follow and turned off the computer . I checked the technical assistance, followed all directions following the known problems people had had with the game, but nothing changed. Sooo, I'm taking it back and switching for another.

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Have to be careful with Oblivion as it does have some tech issues, it has some patches for it aswel you may want to download and make sure you have latest Div X etc.

Re: WOOOH! OBLIVION!
Right, I remember that (about the appropriate version of Div.x), and I checked... it was all pretty good. And I dunno how to patch things up otherwise, so- I'm returning it today Hopefully
