Wow, these do look genuine. All I hope is that they are near completion of Fable 2... That would be awesome!

Well..as I see it this could mean a couple of things:

1. He really is obsessed with the dog and made it a feature they develop early in the process, creating the basics of the game (i.e the area which they are testing it in) just for the purpose of testing the dog.

2. They have covered the basics and the "core" of the game and are now working on the more advanced features, like the dog.

It goes without saying that we are all hoping for #2.

Whats your point? All I see is "dog this" and "dog that", maybe that is the feature they are revealing. The oh so gossipped "dog feature".

My point is that all this talk about the dog by the 'M' aswell as the released screens might not prove that the game is near completetion at all. The fact that there is oh-so much gossip about it might've pushed them to create the dog feature really early in the process so they'd have something to show - not that the game itself is so close to completetion that they are not turning their attention to "small features" like the dog.

Or it could be just the other way around, that they have the "core" of the game done and are now adding "small features" like the dog, however that is most unlikely.

Now why all the attention to the dog? God knows, perhaps 'M's ego....

Yeah, right. Who cares about the dog, there is a gun in there! That means most likely, almost 99.9999% that they will have guns and other firearms in the finished game!

Well as he has said the release is looking like 2008 id say its not really close to completion by his standards yet.

How evil of them to put out these pictures now, if they are not going to be done for another year! Not cool...... but the pics are very nice. The dog is cute, I'm not so sure I would want one though.... unless you could get a meaner looking one ^^

Haha, damn straight! I am more of a cat person anyway, so to the hell with the dog. A shoot-out scene with some Bandits/Pirates - now that would be news!

I'm really happy though. These pictures still show the general FABLE look. The character. Even the dog looks "FABLE" I'm so happy.
