Re: FIFA world cup 2006

It has been more than 30 years since Australia made it into world cup but after our performance against Uruguay we might have a slight chance. Australia has already beaten teams like the World Champions Brazil and England,

But other teams such as Brazil, England, Italy and others big teams like Portugal will prove extremly hard for Australia to overcome. Brazil is in Australia's group and will undoubtively be the hardest team to beat. But I have high hopes we will beat the other two in our group Japan and Croatia.

HERE ARE THE GROUPS FOR THE FIFA SOCCER WORLD CUP 2OO6

GROUP A
Germany, Costa Rica, Poland and Ecuador

GROUP B
England, Paraguay, Trinidad/ Tobago and Sweden

GROUP C
Argentina, Cote d'Ivoire, Serbia/ Montenegro and Netherlands

GROUP D
Mexico, Iran, Angola and Portugal

GROUP E
Italy, Ghana, USA and Czech Republic

GROUP F
Brazil, Croatia, Australia and Japan

GROUP G
France, Switzerland, Korea Republic and Togo

GROUP H
Spain, Ukraine, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia

You have got quite a hard group with Brazil and Croatia in there but maybe you will overcome the odds who knows

I am hoping that we can also. Our Goalkeeper has just been injured ( broken cheek bone). And he was ruled out of the rest of the english premier league season. But he might be ready for the world cup.

Yeah losing Mark Schwarzer is a big blow for you as he is a great keeper.

I'm already getting sick of all these people draping england flags over everything they own!

The next giant england flag that goes up down my street is being replaced by a German one.
