Playstation 3 Price

Its been listed on Play.com at £549.99 which is a very high price tag! The bundle will include a 60 Gb PS3, plus three launch titles including Formula One, Singstar and Warhawk.

The price of a standalone PS3 was expected to come in around the £425 mark in the UK, but the bundle package ups that by a huge £125. Just as the Xbox 360 was pretty much unavailable as a standalone package at its launch (apart from the Core package and even that had alot of bundle packages in places), it seems PS3 fans will also need to pay a bundle premium to secure theirs.

Although Play.com have announced its game package may be subject to change and havent said any further comment on bundles or availability, the listing also provides some indication of the PS3's launch line-up.

Well trying to decide whether to get the Premium or Basic version doesn't really matter becuase the smarter thing to do is just get the Premium. This is becuase they have made the Basic a total rip-off with the fact that every extra content in the Premium does not hold off to around a mere 100 or so.

Problem is though i bet the Premium will sell out and then we will have to wait ages for new stock like the Xbox 360 did. I had to buy the basic one or wait 6 months.
