i was just wondering what the reputation thing is for?

and also what is the post to rank name thing like i know when you get 50 posts you get the name of hero but like how many posts do you need for other ranks.

Rep is just a nice way of thanking people for help and also for good deeds and it best way to find people who help a lot around the forums.

ow another quick question to do with ranks, ive noticed that there is more ranks than legend. like bard and town gaurd. how are they obtained?

those are staff positions...
Bards are the News Editors, and Town Guards are the Super Moderators...
you get them through a variation of soul selling and dirty favours...
