Those four "things" that droded posted looked possessed and I cannot see anything cute about them at all. When my kid was born after 46 hours of agony, you'd think I'd be looking forward to that moment when you take a look at the baby and all the pain disappears in a wave of emotion. She looks ok now, but at the time she was yellowy orange with jaundice, had a big old head and looked permanently cross with the world. Which she gets from me, obviously.

If Steve and I have a baby, I might just ask him to do all the cooing and googly eyed stuff that parents do and I'll sleep for about a year until the kid looks vaguely like a human and less like a hideous genetic experiment...

Hmmm...about six days after, although my back can be depended on to die at any given time. Really not looking forward to the 4 hour journey on the train on Thursday back to my home town...I'm gonna need a wheelchair to get around after that

Can't even get to one yet - not registered until they send me my little card that says I've got a doctor. Would be stationed about a million miles from my house too...

...but yeah, the very loud cracking sound whenever I move is enough to put off even the most persistent hugger. I actually think I'm going to snap in half...

Want to hear something really pathetic? I am currently having to look for living aids - the kind of things the old people use to do the most basic of things. But I'm stopping short of a Zimmer frame. If I'm going to fall to bits, I'm having a motorised buggy with a jet engine put in and alloys. Might apply to Pimp My Ride and go nuts...
