When will the madness end for Sony? Seems things are going from bad to worse and more and more lawsuits and legal battles are cropping up all over the place. This time its against Sony Corp of America by an American company called Parallel Processing who say the PS3 processor infringes on an existing patent, and demands the "impounding and destruction" of all of Sonys infringing processors.

I dont know much about the technology involved or what was patented so couldnt say for sure.

We will have to see about that, things arent looking good at moment with all these lawsuits and credibility bashings they are getting.

Well they sound quite serious about it, i dont think they will get them to destroy the processor as thats an absurd idea. They might get paid off like the rest but thats more money Sony cant afford to be losing right now.

Your right sony really cant afford to be losing these sums of money, esspecially as microsoft is totally out selling them with the 360 and soon the elite. (which your also right about ill get the elite in november)

Sony might have the best lawyers, but its the truth that matters. What will happen to Sony, who knows, but if Sony's processor really did infringe on an existing patent...they should have to pay some price.

Even though i'm not a Sony kind of guy, I think the buyers of the PS3 should not have their money wasted....whatever happens.

If it goes through, and they have to destroy all those components, I seriously hope someone gets that on tape.

Or better yet, me personally pressing the "destroy" button on whatever gigantic machine they have to destroy all those processors.

My opinion was always Sony sux they have pulled **** for as long as I can remember they broke off from Nintendo made faulty batterys and crap-tackular expensive Laptops and terrible consoles I just don't like them period.
