That is what I heard too.
I think he is trading food with the hero in exchange for something. As he is an Evil character I think this will be our first " test of morale ". Starving, or doing something unethical and get food for the day?
The counterweight will be Barnum I think.

Aye, sounds pretty logic since you are a child in the slums and food is probably tricky to get.

LOL, yeah, that's why he's lousy , at busyness, cause no one can understand him. He plays a small part, and it's going to be amazing, with all the possible endings. This may turn into the very best game yet. It's really looking good.
If we can interact with, so many different people, on evil, good, and neutral, this game will be the ultimate .

Very true...and if what Peter Molyneux says about not helping certain "small" role characters can lead to a glum town...imagine ignoring a "Major" or "Important" character...LOL A whole region could possibly end up this way...If this can happen Molyneux will get my vote for Best Game EVAAAAAR!!!!

Like when you purchase stuff, from a trader, at a small place or something, in the woods, that will expand, and grow. It's as if Peter is going above and beyond, to make this the best game of it's kind.
I wouldn't want small towns to turn into slums. I want to see everything, grow and expand. Just like the first video, shown.

Re: Arfur, Barnum, and Giles
I wonder how that will work really... a town growing or degenerating will take a LOT of processing power from the 360!
But, if they have presets, on for 'normal', 'large' and 'slum for very town, and it just switches between them... easiest solution. But boring. Always the same place, only appearance...

Re: Arfur, Barnum, and Giles
They'll probably have, like, 30 presets for each town to avoid that, don't worry. xD

Hm, can't see a game with multiple endings, boring. I hope it doesn't take to much processing power from my 360. How many games are there, where the cities change, grow, prosper, etc? I'll find it quite a challenge, just to stay good. Nope, not boring to me.

Re: Arfur, Barnum, and Giles
I think this will be better because of the different degrees of evil and good sure if your just a bit of a thug ladies are more inclined to still find you attractive rather than if you are a big demonic hammer wield son of a ***** (see fable 2 boxart)
