Hey, well before we get into the story let me just say that I love this site, and my only other post (in the introductions forum) was very warmly recieved and I was touched by that.

Avo and Skorm
Chapter 1: The Chapel of Skorm and The Temple of Avo.
Skorm lay in his eternal prison, waiting patiently for another Death to give him strength. He felt someone new in his Chapel of worship-a young soul, nervous, perhaps lost.
He heard the faint whisper of his voice:
"Oh- um hi... I'm kind of lsot, the Hero escorting me was bit by a balverine and said for me to go get help over here... but if you don't...", its-no HER- voice trailed off-the soul was that of a woman.
"Oh yes" rumbled the deep voice of Orl, the first follower of Skorm. "It was Reaper who sent you here wasn't it?"
"Been a naughty girl have we?" cackled Ven, the second follower of Skorm and a friend of Reaper himself.
"I-what!?" said the girl dumbfounded and quite flustered. How did they know-think she was "naughty"? She hadn't done anything wrong that they could know- she was perfectly law-abiding.
Then a strange thing began to happen. She started to float, over to a campsize-size fire in front of a black stone gargoyle.
"Skorms Insect Infestation seems quite fitting- espicially for this soul"
Skorm himself heard the screams, and savoured the burst of energy that a Soul passing through Skorm's Fire granted him.
Of course Skorm did not kill the persons sacrificed at his temple. They found themselves either at their destination or where they were to start they're journey through Darkwood, with seemingly fitting memories to prove this so. Skorm, even as strongly imprisoned as he was, was not without mental power.


Avo lay on his finest silk bed, graciously accepting a grape that appeared right in front of his mout, out of nothing. A huge burst of energy richoucheted throughout his body- someone had given a very genorous donation at his Temple of worship- Gladiator no doubt.
Why, that man couldn't keep his money away from his mighty self.
Avo chuckled and summoned a jester to keep him company with riddles-not too hard, Avo always had to win! Oh what Albion would do if they knew that he had hardly defeated Skorm, that it was a trick by which Avo had prevailed. He let out a hearty laugh. and what would they say if they knew that Avo, the mighty God himself, lived in the back of his very own Temple! Of course, a normal person may have gone amd all cooped up. But each gold donation only increased Avo's Experience in the Will and he had many people to live with, most of them entertainers.
He had all he ever wanted in his temple- unlimited anything. And where was Skorm? Locked up in a secret spiritual rift between Life and Death that physically resided in HIS Chapel- not in the wall or back of the Chapel but in the Black Stone Gargoyle behind Skorm's Fire! And he was trapped their for all eternity! Avo graciously smiled at his jester, even though he hadn't been listening.

Excellent. I do not enjoy reading most fan fictions, but I decided to read your since you're such a nice guy.

excellent +rep, but quick fact not ment to mess up the story or anything but a trader in need of moneymade two temple in to different location where will energy was strong, in witchwood good will energy was strong, and in darkwood evil will energy was strong, isn't the snowspire oaricle great.

Hey everyone, sorry for being so long but I am continuing this story. I havent finsihed Chap. 1 yet (that was the prolouge) but here is a breif outline of what I will make clear:
The Great war between Avo withhis "Holy Warriors" and Skorm with his Daemons.
How Skorm was improsined
Where Avo is now and how he got there
The TRUE story of the apparent trader making these temples for money (those comments gave me an excellent idea! )
AND
A great cruel power arising- something stronger than Avo or Skorm!?

I will finish the chapter outlined above in a day or three and will post it then!

Ah, not nessecarily Some saw they're manifestations of the heroes that once were, others say their mere inspirations. Mixed opinions in the game.

Anyway, nice story! Blends well with the Fable 1 storyline, also. So, keep the chapters coming bro
