I tried, but if you remember - the vendor was automatic set on selling you a certain item (a gift for your sister). You couldn't do normal trading. So I wasn't able to purchase Avo's Tear, or the Sword of Aeons off him. That woulda been extremely funny though.

What would be even funnier, is if I had been able to buy then been able to wipe out the bandits as they came into Oakvale. The game would've been like WTF!?

Imagine if you could get the Bereaver instead. If your adult Hero has less than 3 Physique it looks very funny then you carry it around and fight with it. Imagine a kid doing the same!
