I also found something very interesting in this interview but it also could be that BBC miscommunicated with PM :

So does this means that Fable 2 coop over Xbox Live is confirmed

I highly doubt he would leave it at "Couch Coop"
refusing to take advantage of online coop would be a big mistake on his part.

Id expect co-op over Live to be announced at some point as he said one of his favourite features involves Xbox Live and hes really excited about the prospect of it.

I hoped for a 3 player coop actualy but this will do it too as long it has coop over Xbox Live.

If you watch the video of when he shows the press Fable 2 at the GDC, he does mention that he will be showing online coop at E3 2008 in July.

Hmm can you be so nice to give us a link to that video because I watched almost all of them I think but I dont think I have heared that.

Or can you tell us at which point he said that ? When he went to visit his husband and kid ?
