Become a LEGEND without doing missions

ok what you do is you start a new game and you rescue the fisherman and get the gold fish (this is after your let out of the guild by the way) then you teleport to the guild and go to the boasting stand and do the NPC resporn secret thing and show off your trophy to all of them *make sure you have enough people there* and hey presto you are a legend at the start happy heroing.

The topic creator of the NPC respawn thing did already mention that it was also an excellent means of getting renown, although this is good if you want to be a legend really early on. Nice.

Dude it's not as simple as it sounds. I've known about this trick a long time, but that trophy is weak. It gives little renoun for whoever you show it to. And it also only grants you as much renown for the amount of people you show it to. Even if you show it to a hundred, that isn't enough to become legendary, being the golden fish is such a weak trophy. And even if you come back later and get a different crowd of a hundred, it's still not better than your high score from the last round which means you'll earn little or nothing. You also left out the fact that people do not go to the boasting platform unless you're on a quest.... And hey guess what, the wasp card has no boasts. And it gives you less and less people the earlier in the game you are.

The only other method that could offer you good renoun is killing all the people at the same time with Enflame level 4, getting 10 renoun for every kill.
