I have heard people say that The Sword of Aeons is the strongest weapon in the game, inflicting 230 damage. But The Bereaver infllicts 285 damage. So what exactly makes The Sword of Aeons the strongest. Is it because the weight? or what?

Weight is part of it. The Sword of Aeons did 550 point of damage in the original Fable. Plus if you use the Sword of Aeons Flux in a long battle you'll find that at the end of a the battle your not as damaged as you would be with the Bereaver

I think it's the most powerful cause it's lighter, so you don't have to be as strong to swing it and you can swing it faster, making you inflict more damage cumulatively
