black and white options menu after hitting ESC (in game play)

I just installed my new fable 2 PC version game yesterday and was just wondering if the black and white options screen that I am encountering when I hit ESC (in game play) is normal...also, is there anyway to change the view to bird's eye? I am finding it difficult to maneuver the character with the mouse....any help would be appreciated!!!

There is no Fable 2 out yet, I guess you mean Fable:The Lost Chapters.

Yes the change in colour is normal, and no, you can't change view I am afraid.
