blank screen

I have installed the game with no problems i can watch all the opening videos with no problem but when the game starts up and the "narrator" is telling of your dream the screen is blank. I can hear him just fine. I go to press and enter and whatever part of the story he is on the screen will show that one scene. From there I hear my father waking me up and the screen is either black or on that particular scene from the "narrator" i have restarted my laptop multiple times, i have change the resolution of the game and i still get the same problem. Please can anyone help me

What GFX card do you have and have you updated the drivers and also what DirectX do you have?

I read the other thread that alot of other ppl are haveing the same problem as me and it says that it is microsoft vista that is causing the problem.

So you have Windows Vista then? Have you ever tried running the game on anything other than Vista?

no b/c i have already used the product key on my laptop and it wont let me use it on another computer. but i just printed of something from the microsoft website to uninstall vista is this a wise idea?

I installed Fable many times on various differen't computers It should let you install it more than once, and use the CD key as many times as you would like.
Fable is in stalled on this computer that I'm currently using as well as the one that's next to me.

I got this laptop as a gift so i could play the games on my laptop instead of on my dad's desktop computer. So i can only play these games on my laptop

Does anyone know for sure if its vista or not b/c i dont want to uninstall the main operating program and then screw up the computer?

well... if you can get the game to play on another computer which you have access to, why would you do that at all?

b/c im about to go off to college and I MUST BRING FABLE WITH ME (it told me to)

at least i will have my xbox 360 with me so i can get fable 2

Does anyone know if there are any patches made by microsoft to fix this problem?

I fixed the problem with why my game wont let me see the screen. I just wanted to thank everyone who posted on this thread trying to help me and give me tips. Thanx
