Blue Crow has been permanently banned from this forum. To get rid of an suspicion that it was because of his idea of "Forum Democracy", it was not. Regardless what some people might tell you, we don't ban people for disagreeing with us.

The reason for this is his repeatedly rude and insulting attitude towards staff and other members and a pair of insulting PMs he sent to me. He has been warned and punished by less severe methods before, but as it seems to have done nothing to improve his attitude he has now been permanently banned from our forums.

To sum up: He was banned for breaking the forum rules by being repeatedly rude and insulting. Nothing else.

hm? really Blue Crow always seemed to be a nice guy...hm..well w/e. rules are rules, and their there for a reason.

Yes, he was nice when I got here. But evil corrupted him.

I can't register what he was saying to the staff! I've never seen post like that. He was a two-face guy to me. Good riddance!

Thanks Tsuyu for letting everyone know and a good preemptive strike in case someone starts a "what happened to Blue Crow?????" type thread.

Shame he couldn't stick to the few rules we have here but I think he just liked the attention he got from stirring trouble...pity really...

Just so you all know though, please can this thread not run him down or be used as a platform to ***** about things he said or did or whatever...keep it off the boards if you do need to let off steam coz these threads tend to degenerate pretty quickly

I hate when people leave threads like these open... what do you think people will say... there going to bash him and say stuff when he can't say anything back... I think this thread should be locked closed or deleted.

It's letting people know, in light of the whole "all staff are corrupt" theme, the specifics of why he was banned. This is exactly the kind of thing that would be commonplace had the idea of letting everyone decide what someone did wrong and what punishment they should have etc been implemented.

Now you can see why perhaps it's not such a good idea after all

Besides, this thread is for information only - not a Blue Crow bashing - so if there is trouble then it will be locked accordingly.

I actually think Blue Crow must have been going through some tough times in life or something. He isn't usually as argumentative as he has been recently.

I do agree that he should be banned until he calms down and apologises though.

Call me insensitive but hard times or not, you can't just take it out on everyone else I'm afraid. The option to send private messages is ALWAYS available and if the person you want to discuss things with seems a little to difficult to approach then there are 3 other staff members available...

We all have stuff going on but to use the forums as a way of letting off steam at the world is unfair on everyone else. If you need to talk then find someone to talk to - there's plenty of us after all. But don't just rant and rave because it doesn't help matters.

He should have thought things through, looked before he leaped etc.

Blue crow was infected, and by morning the transformation had completed it's final stages. He has turned into one of them, one of the Forum Trolls.

Tsuyu has received some incredibly unpleasant messages from Blue Crow as have some other members. He has repeatedly shown a very bad attitude towards both staff and regular members and despite being warned about kicking off on others when they don't agree with his opinion or choose the "wrong" thing in his eyes, he simply would not back off and if he couldn't continue his argument in a thread, he would PM it instead.

Everyone has the right to come on these boards without fear of harassment either publicly or privately. To post with the intent to insult or inflame a situation is against the rules and despite temporary bans, infractions and warnings Blue Crow has refused to discuss things calmly, rationally and without hurling abuse at people.

He only posted lately to argue, not to contribute, and until that attitude is sorted he cannot be a productive member of these boards. It simply is not fair on everyone else if he can carry on being abusive and doesn't reap the consequences.

I don't necessarily think he was a troll as before recent events he was a genuine contributor to this site. But I do think he has let his temper get the better of him and this has lead to some rather ugly confrontations which have ended badly for him.
