Blue/Green swirling orbs?

Just a really quick question I've been pondering about for a while. I could never really figure out where this came from sooo....I'm here :p. I'm playing as a villian and I've grown my horns...but I have no clue as to what these 4 blue-ish orbs are doing around my character. They're rather small and they have that wispy effect when I run around. Any ideas? This has been killing me lol.
