No, I don't want them. That's the problem I've been having. In previous (closed) threads I've read several different explanations; you get them from having all the spells maxed out, you get them from having maxed out mana, you get them from using magic, and so on. I was wondering if someone worked out an exact number of say will experience gained or spent you need to get them so I can avoid this on the characters I don't want those lines on. Or should I just resign to never using magic with them?

Never using magic is one option. You could however remove them from the gamre completely through modding.

Your out of luck. All texture morphing gets blended in on a scale of 0% - 100%. There are no specific numbers that they kick in like horns or hair.

I heard the one about mastering all spells too, but in some of my games, I haven;t mastered any, and I still got them. Modding may be the best solution.

Um... perhaps I should be looking for one of the closed threads, but I'm lazy. You can get them? But it takes all the Will, spells and power and all at the max levels? Is that what is being said?

That's what I heard, but I got them without doing that.

What did you have when you got them? And what game-- XBox Fable, XBox TLC, PC Fable, or PC TLC?

I've had the same experience as Solus with PC TLC. One character only learned three spells (lightning, physical shield, and multi-arrow), with multi-arrow leveled up twice, and he has blue marks all over his body. The younger you are, the more apparent they are. It's not that I don't like them on some of my characters, but on some others I just don't want them.

It's too bad characters can't unlearn spells like they can undo leveling up in other categories.

I had the opposite problem. I tried to get them, but could only get them once I had got almost every spell to lvl 2.
