Sure, re-growth, but in time your bone-marrow (right spelling?) also oxides away, and bone-marrow cant be replaced by your body... and the bone-marrow makes new bloodcells, that carry oxygen, if you didnt know that.
If someone would only take 1 breath every 60 seconds, that person could very well live to the age of 200 years, according to some scientists. But taking 1 breath per minute kinda sucks and I dont think anyone is willing to live their whole life like that. (And bytheway, I think you would need to be put in a stasis or something, but thats not important).

This tells us quite a bit about how big albion will be. If we can multiply every zone's size with 4... ! That is impressing even for a new-generation console, methinks...

You would not be able to contorl your breathing while your alseep, so that throw's that theory out of the water.

Re: Bowerstone split into 4 regions
Since this has changed into a religion topic, I would also like to point out that according to how time was measured BC before the year 0 and after is very different. 900 years is not actually 900 years in our time. Though I am a Christian, there is lots in the bible that I don't understand, but faith doesn't always need 100% facts on something like how old then people were etc. It's like pick a religion or don't pick a religion, but what works for you does and stick to it.
It's stupid to see avid Christians trying to justify everthing and its stupid to see other religeons trying to point fingers, but I agree that today 500 years sounds not true, but thing changed or sometimes the Bible uses figures of speech that can't be taken literally today.
Im not trying to justify anything and I don't want to be a hollier than thou type of Christian, I do believe that we can all be better people. But If you think about everything the human race knows and measure it, how can you be certain that there isn't something out there that we don't know since there are lots of thing science can't explain.
Also people once though the earth was flat. Don't worry I am also aware that sometimes people can twist and turn History to make it sound true or not, but I don't beleive in people so it's a pitfall that I will skip. I don't have faith in Christainity , but in Jesus so Im not like a blindfolded idiot follower.

Re: Bowerstone split into 4 regions
Thanx, I know about it, just made my point and didn't mean to sound like *this is right and this is wrong* I hate fads, like people doing this because everyone is doing it etc. We all have our own believes and moral values and Im not here to try to convince someone, it's there choice, but you won't know if it is right or wrong till you try it
I also know that everyone hates a wisea$$ lol

Ohyes you would... i dont know what they are called, but they might be called Respirators. Machines that help you breath if you fall into a VERY deep coma. They decide when you breath and when you dont
Otherwise you could just collapse the lungs, and make fake-lungs (aka, "iron-lungs").
I liked the fact the we are going to be able to explore the areas UNDER Bowerstone ;D

Respirators were not invented 3000 years ago though =)
It could be possible to control breathing while in a state that is similar to sleeping. I'd say there would have been a form of meditation that brought the person into a state of rest while still being able to control the body. i think Buddhist and Hindu monks could meditate for hours on end and bring their body into a strange almost dead state, if you knew how to you could relax your heart rate by a fair bit and then have to take less breath.
