The word "newb" isn't rude. It is a description of a person new to something. "n00b" on the other hand, is a derogatory remark concerning someone's skill or abilities.

"Hi guys, I am a newb to this game, so if anyone can give me any pointers, it would be most appreciated!"

"Oh my God! You are such a NOOB, don't you know ANYTHING??//!!!111111??"

WOW thanks for setting that out in the first place I hardly ever call new people anything unless its like that thread in a different forum (not fable 2 forum) were the name of the thread was "New comp and pics of Counter Strike Source"
and some one sees a screen shot and asks "what game is that?" thats were someone deserves the remark n00b. (seriously I saw that thread on another forum)

Btw I poped in my fable disk gonna beat the game again be back in a LOT of hours!
