One more question though. What is it like playing in first person? I've never really thought the gameplay would be as good...

I had the same feeling as you at first but its really good and makes it really easy to judge blows and dodges and makes weapons feel powerful and gets you right into combat especially when parrying a blow with sword or blocking one with shield or dodging fireball from enemy etc.

I didn't need to hear it from you. In fact, I already knew it.

Your graphics and memory are good.. but damn that Sempron will slow you down and I'd recommend an upgrade.. do you know what socket it is?

939 or AM2?

If it's 939 you may have to buy a processor online because it's getting harder to get them retail... if it's AM2 then it shouldn't be a problem.

If you want to try to make things a bit smoother without updating your processer get 2 gigs of ram but even then a Sempron is still a Sempron.
