Re: buying shops

as far as I know a shop once bought is just as a regular property... I don't think it functions as a shop any longer so there's not really anything to get discounts on... I would recommend just renting it out or using it to bag a wife

Re: buying shops

Yeah, like Jester said, you can't run the shop you can only rent it. You'd think you could at least get a discount
Guess will have to wait for Fable 2 *Sits down and begins to wait*

Re: buying shops

Seemed a shame that the owning of property feature in Fable was so lackluster and basic and you couldnt really do anything with the place once you owned it. That took the fun away from it and also all of the good perks, cant even get a discount on your own shop... thats crazy.

Re: buying shops

Yes, tis a shame that the shops wouldn't fuction as usual, even after you bought them. I bought a couple of taverns, and they were always empty when I came back. I wanted the places to be lively and like they were before. I can understand houses and all, but shops and things like that, it's sad because I bought the place and no one uses it. That's why if I do so now, I just rent the places out or sell them. Too bad you can't steal the merchandise that belonged there(and wished it stayed there) after you bought the place. Tis very sad indeed.
