cannot save game please help

i have been playing this game on and off for 3 days. Everytime i try to save the game it only gives me the hero save option, or autosave. Whenever i die on a quest it resets me to the beginning where the training is at the guild. This last game i beat 3 quests, and it still doesnt give me an option to do a real save or even bother to autosave at my last location. I am forced to restart as a child again. Can someone please please help me with this?

Hey d0o you take quests and die in the quest areas, if so you can't world save during quests.

yes i have died during the quests, however i have also completed several quests, and it always returns me to the apprentice guild as a small boy after i lose all my lives or fail the quest. How do i get to world save. That is what ineed, i really really want to play this game, but i cant if i have to restart from the beginning everytime. thanks so much for any advice you can give me

Make a totally new profile and once your no longer in training, save. Then load and see if it works. Either that or reinstall the game and hope it works. Check the disc for scratches. Contact the store you purchased it from or search Google for some answers. Thats all I can do for help, hiii98. If any of my suggestions work, enjoy your game!

how far in the game must you be to get the world save option? Also anyone know where the saved games directory is located? I would like to look at the file. BTW it just reset on me for the 10th time, just wasted 5 hours and now reset to the training scene AGAIN. Any help would really really be appreciated.

You have to obtain all the basic equipment when training is done to do the first "World Save", as far as I know. Finish training and go to the Level Up thing and level up whatever you want and once thats done, a window will pop-up saying "Training: Complete" or something and you get the basic "Hero" equipment. Walk out of the Guild and save. I don't know where the save files are, probably where ever you installed it.

After your training you should get the world save option as it is very hard to die in training. Then after that save and after every quest if you still dont get the option then come back and let us know and we will help with further possibilities.

i restarted a new character and got the world save option immediatly after training, before taking a quest. however my other character i would signup for several quests then try to find the world save option and it was absent. can the world save option still be available after completing the quests and not starting a new one?

Thanks alot, at least i got one new character to world save... but i still want to use my other one that has 8 hours of play on it, verse none

Imideatly (spelling?) after completing a Quest, the game should autosave and yes you can save right after a quest. If you mean clicking on a quest (ex Protect Orchard Farm) and then saving, I think so. If you mean going into the area where the quest happens, no... only Hero save. Hope this helps.

Yeah after completing quests it should autosave for you so shouldnt be a problem really.

when you want to world save you can't have any ACTIVE quests. it is ok if the yellow marker is on your mini map as long as it isnt pulsing(getting biger and smaller). tghat means that the quest is active. if it isn't pulsing you are good for a world save. does that help?

You mistaken in one way. The Gold marker means a quest is in a certain area, which ever exit its on. For example, on the Wasp Queen quest, it will flash continously till you enter the picnic area. You can go into Greatwood with it flashing AND world save. So in a sense, your wrong and right.
