ok long story short i have duck tape stuck to my hair how do i get it off without hurting myself really badly!

Sorry, but you pretty much set yourself up for that one. Unless you have something like DeSolvIt, you're either going to have to rip it out or cut it out.

If there's not much stuck to your hair try pulling gently from the bottom, taking your time. Failing that, try a bit of WD40 if you have any and spray it on the adhesive side. Hold your hair by the roots and peel off slowly then wash thoroughly once the tape is off. WD40 (or something similar) will dissolve the adhesive - hopefully.
