character classes

there may be something similar to this but i dont know.

so i just watched the IGN PM interview:

IGN: Fable 2 Trailer, Videos and Movies

PM talks about the four different types of experience and basically you can use the different experience towards the three different skills, sword, gun/crossbow, and magic. each enemy will drop different experience it looked like with the majority of the experience being what you killed it with. im not quite positive off the top of my head about the colors but basically blue is sword yellow is gun red is magic and green is general. i guess green can be used on any skill. so basically my question is what do you think you will spend your experience on knowing this will affect your characters physical traits and overall your style of play.

personally i will most likely do at least one play through for each with my first playthrough being a combo of all three but mostly gun and sword.

the interview talks more on the sacrifice which seems more to me from PM's talking that it will be alot more than money and more like losing some aspect of combat, something that you will really have to decide if your willing to sacrifice for.

so to sum it all up i guess im asking what skill will you use your experience towards and just how much of your combat abilities are you willing to sacrifice.

Re: character classes

I really hope the leveling system is much deeper than in Fable. Different melee character types (an axe-wielding meatball or a super fast katana master) etc.
And I think they`d keep red as Sword and blue as Will.

My obvious choice would be magic or skill or better yet, a mix of them. I`d like to see those good effects on magic skills.

Re: character classes

I think a stealthy ranged/magic user would be the best. I would be an assasin, trained to kill

Re: character classes

Hmmm I tend to prefer a balanced holy warrior, but I am unsure what to call that particularly. If this were D&d if I remember from days long ago, that would be a Ranger....
