well i went into EB games today to upgrade my reserved reguler fable 2 to the collectors edition and they said that they arent doing that anymore im guessing sense its gone gold? anywase they gave me the pub games card but id already bought that on live because i didnt kno that if you pre ordered it u got it for free so now im just wondering if you preorder it from EB games do you pay anything i did it awhile ago and forgot so... if you dont ill just preorder from a website and get the collectors but just need some help here...

My local EB Games works if you preorder a game there you pay 5 bucks for a regular Fable II game and 10 for Collectors Edition and i believe that money goes to the game so it knocks the price down 5 dollars or 10 dollars

it matters where you are though, in Australia EB i think is the only place you can pre-order it and possibly JB-HiFi

You can return the preorder toward anything in the store

I'm not sure why they did that; it's pretty retarded. Essentially, you'd be cancelling your reservation for one game, and putting it on another game (Fable 2 to Fable 2 LE. They're in the system as two seperate entries). As long as you can pay the five dollars extra to meet the minimum financial requirement of that reservation, there shouldn't be a problem. Go back, dude, I can almost guarantee it's that specific employee either being a douche or ignorant of company policy.

possibly you could do a comp and winner gets the pub games card
