Does your System ever make HORRID sounds?

I did a search about a couple of weeks ago to see if there was a difference in availability between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD and they were about even. Sony/ Blu-ray hasn't lost yet but if the ratio of HD-DVD to Blu-ray Players does end up being 10 to one as was predicted it’s not so good for the PS3

Yeah my PS2 makes a damn whirring sound sometimes and the disk tray grinds like hell when it opens.

Depends because a lot of TV's here are built for HD only and you need a separate set or at least some separate leads to run Blu Ray and most people don't want to shell out extra for a separate set and another licence etc. Plus there are a lot of people here who have just learnt about HD and don't understand or even know what Blu Ray is.

My Xbox doesn't make any sound 'cause it's broken

I didn't know that about HD and blu-ray TV compatibility I'll check it out

Hahah sometimes my disk tray gets stuck and doesn't go back in. It's kind of funny. I like listening to it sometimes It does make a sound, just not whirring..kind of like..thinking too much..lol yes thinking has a sound

Or comes out then goes back in before you have put the disk in almost taking fingers off in the process!

I thought my PS2 was the only one to do that. I have experienced that with the Xbox, but that's because it was buitl it's not a "REAL" Xbox. I hate when the disc is not in all the way, and it closes and almost eats the disk.

the best was my old school gameboy... it was as big as a television and just as heavy... those things were so ridiculously expensive...
the screen was that awful yellow and black, and no matter how you held it to the light, you could never quite see what you were doing, so you'd crane away twisting the damn tinting knob, which I'm sure didn't actually do anything, hoping to clear it up and get out of Wario's way...
they came out with some stupid power pack you could add to the back of it like a knapsack that was bigger than the actual gameboy, that you could recharge instead of using batteries....I didn't want it cause I was already developing a strain from carrying the gameboy around, but my mother made me cause she's cheap that way... and the first time I plugged it in it smoked and my mother made me hook it up to the gameboy anyway and after that the gameboy never worked again...
after that I didn't get another system until my ps2... so many sad gameless years...

Old school gameboys, possibly the worst handheld screens EVER

like the way you put it though! Gameless years, they would have sucked big time!
