Custom Face Tattoo to hide age.

I am new-ish here, posted a reply once. I haven't learned anything about modding FableTLC yet, did a little with UNREAL TOURNY. I will try to learn how to get started when i get tired of playing it as is. It's the best game I have played in a long time, maybe the best ever. Now, my point. I hate the age system in FTLC. Instead of modding to not age, I have made a custom face tat that hides age. It took a while, but was fun, and i have lots of time. If anyone wants it, let me know, I will send it some kind of way. Also, anyone who knows, tell me how to show it on here if that's allowed, if not, maybe it can be emailed. It's an 800kb file.

u already made it? sounds pretty cool. and btw u can upload it as a fmp (fable mod package). im not REALLY sure how to do it, but i think in Fable Explorer, you go to fmps in files and click create a new fmp and uplaod the mod, not sure ho, hope i helped

It isn't a mod. It is just a custom tat I made using Ulead PhotoImpact. I put it on my profile as my picture if you want to see it. That's the small version so it would fit. I played with colors to get skin, put a few different colors for texture, and put on a normal-ish beard(also added black to eyebrows). it works great as bald, I got the tat to go all the way around the head and down the neck. If you have a hairstyle other than bald, that will still be gray. It covers the wrinkles and mottling that face gets as you level-up in experience. I am still playing with the hair. That's hard to make look right when canvas is flat and end result is 3-D. So far what I get looks somewhat like the Plaits style card, only worse.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN CUSTOM TATTOOS.

Think you can do a better job than the finest skin artists in Albion? Want to
customise your Hero down to his very flesh? Here's how to do it.

In the Tattoos folder (found in 'My Documents\My Games\Fable') you'll see a folder
named after your user profile. Inside you'll find a bitmap (.bmp file) for each of
the tattoo types you can customise:

arms.bmp
back.bmp
chest.bmp
face.bmp
legs.bmp

Open the tattoo type you want to customise in an image editing program such as
Microsoft Paint. Once you have edited the image, save the result.

Next time you pay a visit to a Tattooist in the game, your customised tattoo will
be available for application in the same way as those found on Tattoo Cards.

Please note that customised tattoos will only become available in game once they
have been altered.

Should you ever need to revert back to the blank tattoo image, you will find the
originals in the 'Data\Tattoos' folder, which is in your Fable installation
folder. Simply copy the bitmap file over the custom tattoo you want to replace
(removing the "_base" part of the filename).

Thats the guide in the 'My Documents\My Games\Fable' folder so you just need to save the image jwc2200 posted as 'face.bmp' in the folder they specify and it should become avalible in game.

A simpler way to replace the original tats is to create a folder in the Tattoos folder for blanks, ie 'Tattoo Blanks'. Its easier to copy them to it from a new profile before you edit then copy to profile tat folders when you want to change it.

I just use a trainer, to make his age 18, I don't want to HAVE to use a tattoo to rid myself of age.

I don't want to have to use a tat either. I figured folks who do not mod could use this if they like. I wasn't sure about trying to mod when i posted this. I was just trying to be helpful. I have started doing some modding. Age mod isn't going well, but I posted a question in the modding forum about that. I will look into this trainer thing you mentioned, thanks for the tip.

If the thread is in the wrong place I apologize. If it should be somewhere else and moving it is something I should do, please let me know where to put it and how.
