Custom Tattoo Problem

I just recently got fable for the PC, and I have this problem where everytime I make a custom tattoo, and then I go into the game to check it out, the tattoo is the same color as his skin but a little bit darker, no matter what colors I make the tattoo.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I dont know if anyone came up with a real solution, im betting that now our modding community has gotten more experience they could fix it now but it was spoken about here also, is this what you mean?

I know that I read how to fix this somewhere. I just can't remember where. Are all the names right? Does your Tattoos folder look like it should? Make sure that you read the readme that came with Fable, and that you did everything it said. It could be the file format.

No, that not the same problem im having. Im not sure how to post an image, but let me try to explain it a little better.

like, if I tried to put a picure of a yin-yang, it would end up looking like a circle of tan skin with no color detail on him.

are you saving them as .bmp?

I think I just figured out the problem, I wasnt erasing the _base at the end of the file name, im such an idiot, let me see if it works now.

alright its still not working. After I renamed the file to just "back", and I go to get a tattoo, the custom tattoos dont even show up. This is really annoying because it takes me forever to find a tattoo trader everytime I try something different.

I figured it out, I was in the wrong folder. I got it to work, but my only question now is are the tattoos always a really bad quality picture?

Well, bmps kinda suck, so the only way to make them better quality would be to import it into FE as a .dds.

hmm i made some jack mask tattoos and thay turned out perrty good i can post them Feel free to use them as you wish

And again one of the maskes on his belt

i was thinking about making a full jack tattoo outfit but not sure
