Dark Forum Skin? Page 2

I very much hate the design of the Devil May Cry forum. It is far too dark for my tastes which is why I do not venture there.

Yeah I'd have to agree. This is my bastion of light in the wast swampland called the Intertubes, it needs to remain pure and good!

And I just love the shaded background, it brings focus on the forum but doesn't make it look like there's just empty unused space, like a simple single-coloured background would.

I agree with droded and Tsuyu: I quite like the forums as they are. That being said, I'd prefer an update to the software over any cosmetic changes.

Would you be able to keep the colour the way it is but still make the update? Seems strange that it wouldn't let you, unless the new VB only comes with dark skins. But I thought you could change it?

It comes down to the fact that this skin has been purchased from another site and unfortunately it is no longer supported so any updates would be pointless as they wouldn't be able to be used. The dark skin is still supported for the time being and therefore any VBulletin updates can be integrated with the minimum of fuss...

The DMC one is so very dark because it fits with the game itself - I don't know if it is possible to alter it enough to make it much lighter....I'd have to let Steve answer that one.

As mentioned before, why not just have both skins? Instead of completely replacing the current one.

If upgrading offers many benefits, why not, but I really like the current skin, it has a good neutral feel to it.
A hard decision indeed.

this is fables independant skin!!! keep it please!!! the color makes it easy to read all the stuff byt like some one said i wouldnt be able to see through the darkness. It would bring sorrow to me for the rest of my life
