Does anyone actually use block?

I think Force Push can be a good replacement for block. It can knock enemies faaaar away and mana costs is low. You can`t block ranged shots anyway so, for bow users, Force Push is a fantastic spell.

The problem with Force Push is that it has Friendly Fire

Although FF owns when doing The Arena [funny to knock Whisper around]

I can see how it would make t he game more interesting to use block, it's just an extra button for me though, why switch to block when you can just keep hitting them and get knocked down maybe once before killing them...

Or like other people said just use a spell..

One thing I hate about block is that it`s useless against ranged attacks. So, if you are busy blocking incoming bandits, some guys take out their crossbows and kill you anyway.

i never use block
but once in a while ill use defensive spells like physical shild.

i never use block. instead i use spells like physical shield and enflame. enflame kicks *** at level 4 and doesnt do friendly fire. the problem is since block is on the y button on xbox its very troblesome to switch between blocking and attacking. if block was on a trigger though, or if you just held attack button down, it would be a different story. luckily they changed it in fable 2 so now you just hold attack down.

I use it in almost every battle because I do not use spells. Each type of creature and subset of that type of creature has a certain attack style, so it is easier to know when to block once you learn the attack styles. Some blows can not be blocked, then I try to roll, often end up on my face though.
