Dreamcast

Okay, so I'm sitting there playing the game MakenX for dreamcast Everything's going fine, then all of a sudden the lock on button changes to the jump button. then stopped responding.

And again today. the controll stopped responding completely, so I had to restart the console. It still didn't respond. Neither did the memory cards.

After 5 minutes the controller started responding again.

I was wondering if this is a common problem, or if I'm the only one who wants to beat the crap out of the dreamcast.

Re: Dreamcast

Tried taking them all out and turning it off for a while then plugging them all back in? Or switching controllers to different ports etc?

Re: Dreamcast

My Dreamcast has the problem of not being able to read discs to 100%. Sometimes the loading times seem to take forever, or the background music stutters.

I think that, along with your problem, is just plain old decay. Perhaps your controller has taken one hit too many..

We bought it from someone, along with an old school nintendo, Xbox, and some other consoles as well as games. So I don't know what abuse it's seen..*caresses Dreamcast* it's okay..no one will hurt you anymore.

We bought it from a manager at walmart, he didn't want the stuff anymore because he was starting to think games were childish. he could've broken everythng, but I guess droded is right. I'll just have to deal with it.

The main problem (for me atleast) is finding used stuff for old consoles for sale that actually do work...

It seems to be okay now. and If I did have any money to buy anything it'd be food. I can't live off grilled cheese and ramen (Mr Noodles :ninja) forever

Good song.

that's only because people think old consoles aren't worth taking care of.
Ah well.
