Hey, im currently new to this forum, i do not know if this is my place to call upon this but....

my suggestion is to have more graphics orientated/animated emotions

post below with ideas etc

A man of real I.Q can express emotion in written text without such tomfoolery. Nontheless we do have quite a large selection of 'smileys' already; 47 in total.

One can never have more than enough rep and it isn't as rewarding to serve it to yourself as it is to have someone else give it to you.

My question is why people can't seem to have simple yes/no polls without adding "because it's a stupid idea and you should hang yourself for thinking of it" or "that is so awesome-o woooooooo!". I want to say no. Not "No... Dude... Just No... Wtf you thinking..", just a plain and simple "No."

But that aside. No. And agreed with Tsuyu. It says something about a person when a selection of a few hundred smileys are really needed to get a point across. I use one or two, and the reason is because the smiley is the first thing a person sees in a block of text. Seeing a in a block of text will say "this paragraph has to do with something that makes me happy" before the reader can read it.

I will never, ever ever ever use half of the smileys currently available, and I'm sure that there are others who would never ever ever ever use them either. Adding more to the collection is a fast way to have more people use less site content.

But that's just my thoughts on it.

I think we have enough. I use a few of them fairly often, but I dont think I would use them if more were animated. The few animated ones we have are good enough.

But if you really really want to use them, you could always use outside emocons. I see them sometimes on here.
