Damnit, I'm at school and it'd be really rude to sit here blasting Zero Punctuation out into the room. And I have no headphones. AND the same thing happened yesterday, so I didn't watch it then, either, and just wante to sleep when I got home.

Yay, I watched it. I agree with the initial comments on God, only the explanation is MUCH simpler than he implies, and that answer is-- he ain't benevolent, he's an asshole.

On another note, I also agree about Baldur. I mean, really, a guy who has his mom go ask everything not to hurt him? And then she forgets holly? I mean, really, if you can get everything else, why not holly? Its a big green prickly thing. I would want to be unharmed by it. And anyway, they deleted that part of the myth it would seem because our boy Baldur can apparently be killed by things OTHER than dumbass friends busy playing "let's throw things at our invulnerable friend and watch them bounce off and, hey let's shoot him with an arrow made of the one thing that harms him!"

Actually, they stayed pretty true to the original story. True, both his mom and that they did play that game didn't make it in Too Human. In the mythology, Loki tricked the blind Hod to fire the arrow, killing Baldur.

That's pretty much what happens in Too Human, if you replace "tricked to fire arrow" to "modified cybernetic eye-piece to show Baldur as Loki".
