I honestly loved Overlord I and really want Overlord II, but considering that I noticed most of the things he bitched about in Overlord I, it's probably a bad sign.

Of course, I still want it. I rarely let my buddy Yahtzee sway me.

Of course, I should probably beat the first one before I go to play the next one. I got stuck where I had to fight the giant smashy-dude, Kahn or whatever. Well, him and his floating eye-buddy jackasses.

Also, you're welcome. And I love blasting that song over our outdoor speakers whilst terrifying small children on Halloween.

EDIT: Also, I can't help but be happy and brag. I was going to wait until the game got cheap and buy it then, but I just (finally) had my brithday dinner and got my presents from my mom and brother, and I got Overlord II. YAY! Clearly, the Zero Punctuation review brought me luck.

It was funny.

That said, I don't own a Wii, but I enjoyed it the few times I played it. Not enough to actually buy it, because it did seem really shallow (3/4 of the games I've played were minigame collections of one kind or another, and the fourth was Mario Kart.) It was fun, but when I've already blown my cash on a 360, what more do I need?

Aye, the Wii is more of a sociable play-thing and not really a console for hardcore gaming, with annual exceptions.

I played all the time by myself, be it wii sports or wii anything. I don't think it's just for sociable. Not with games like Red Steel

zelda, Umbrella Chronicles or Darkside Chronicles.

what's with all the hate? why can't gamers be more like me? and appreciate EVERYTHING the gaming world has to offer?

Simple. I don't have the money to buy another console. I'll play it when I get the chance (f'rinstance, my library occasionally has gaming events, and all they have is a Wii), but I'm not going to have the opportunity to explore anything aside from multiplayer, party-type games.
